I found this website because it was one of the three hits google reported for "biermaid". It contains a particularly interesting combination of dispair and self-realization.

"While irresponsible usage of drugs and wild anonymous sex are short term cure-alls for many ills, they do not regain the eastern bloc."

Funniest Communist Webpage evar!

More:
I awoke with a terrible hangover on the floor of a bierhall. I had trouble breathing and was completely covered in sweat. When I realized that I could not move, I suddenly understood that my sadness over the tumbling of the [Berlin] wall had caused the pathetic scene I found myself in. A once proud communist lying with a hangover on the floor of a bierhall completely naked. I was unable to breathe or move, paralyzed by the massive naked weight of the German biermaid lying on top of me. Her natural breasts as large as my head had fallen to either side of my neck, constricting my throat, and her long braids, extending the night before to her waist, were tied around my wrists.

Old news, but I just got a chance to read logs and various reports, fallouts, revisitations, etc. about Brandon Carl Vedas (aka "Ripper") killing himself while on a live webcam in front of his "friends". Breeze by the tribute site for a full index of everything on it, because your day needed a little levity.

CBS just spent $9 Million to produce a 4 hour miniseries on the Reagans for the November sweeps. And this week, they canned it. Apparently, if you believe the network execs, this decision has nothing at all to do with so-called "conservative" initmidation, the talk radio claims of bias, rabid calls for a boycott, letters sent the network's top 100 sponsors, the nat'l GOP chair weighing in that it was an "unfair portrayal", etc., etc. They aren't influenced by politics there at CBS, no sir! What proud journalists they are!

It goes without saying, of course, that none of the critics have actually seen the program. That kind of thing isn't necessary for folks who already know that liberals run the media and are trying to besmirch every good and decent thing left in this country. And there's only like 3 or 4 good and decdent things left. One'a them's a'Reagan. *misty eyed*

To be clear: people who support of Reagan with this kind of fervor and mania have already demonstrated a willing separation of their "belief" system from the petty influences of reality. I was just a kid when Reagan first took office (and the son of two honest conservative parents). But before he was out, even I could tell he was off, and I wasn't even in high school yet. I've been annoyed since then to see his ongoing deification in action. Trickle-down? StarWars? Iran-Contra? Hello!?!

Read it at NY News Day or anywhere else...
